Music Boosters

Read the letter to students/parents and download an application here.Nominations for RHHS Music Boosters Board 2008-2009The RHHS Music Boosters board is taking nominations for all board positions. The following positions are to be filled: President – duties include running regular meetings, coordinating between the RHHS music directors and the Booster organization and managing the Booster organization. Vice President – primary duties are supporting the President in his/her duties and overseeing the coordination of committee chairs for the various Booster supported projects and events. Treasurer – duties include formulating the budget for the Booster organization, tracking expenditures and receipts relative to the budget, handling all monetary transactions on behalf of the Booster organization and handling the paperwork for tax purposes. Student Account Treasurer – duties include managing the student accounts, coordinating with the RHHS music department staff in communicating with the students regarding their account, providing periodic account summaries to the students (families) and coordinating with the Booster Treasurer in account balances. Secretary – duties include recording and publishing the minutes of the Booster meetings and coordinating communication from the Booster Board. Please include the name of the nominee, the position nominated for and contact information including e-mail and phone. All nominees will be contacted for verbal confirmation of their acceptance of the nomination. All nominations must be submitted by May 5th, 2008. The election of the board members will occur at the May Booster meeting. RHHS Music Boosters, Inc. The River Hill High School Music Boosters, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit volunteer organization providing support, services, and financial aid to promote the continued development and growth of the River Hill High School Music Program.
Meetings The RHHS Music Boosters, Inc. will generally meet the 1st Tuesday of every month, beginning at 6:30 pm. Exact dates are posted on the home page. These meetings are used to convey important information pertaining to all aspects of the music program. All parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Minutes from monthly meetings will be posted here.

RHHS Music Boosters Handbook The River Hill High School Music Boosters, Inc. Handbook was prepared to outline general information, highlight our many diverse performing ensembles, and acquaint students and parents with our Music Program. Our intent is to make as much information available so that students and parents may enjoy a positive experience within the Music Program.
