Band Ensembles

The Wind Ensemble is the premier performing ensemble for winds and percussion at River Hill High School. 

The Symphonic Band is the second performing ensemble at River Hill High School.  This ensemble is a feeder to the more demanding Wind Ensemble.

In addition to the regularly scheduled class period, mandatory dress rehearsals and sectionals (during the school day) will be required. Performance (mandatory attendance) include POP Concert, Tiny Tots concert, Winter Concert, Festival Preview Concert/HCPSS District VII Band Adjudication, Spring Concert, Spring Adjudication Trip (attendance optional), and school assemblies/community outreach.

Auditions take place in January for the following school year.  Check events calendar for specific dates.
